Health Express Family Fun Day which took place in Hackworth Park in August. The event was attended by the partners of the project and provided a great insight to the Health Expressproject with over 1000 residents of Shildon attending.
Rt. Hon. Andy Burnham, Shadow Secretary of State was guest of honour at the Shildon Health Expressreception on 29th July. The reception was held to showcase the work of the Health Express project and to launch new schemes to encourage more active lifestyles.
Hundreds of children were given hands on experience of how to be healthy as they learned to Love Food ahead of Bishop Auckland Food Festival in April 2016.
